Company History
St. Brendan's Isle was founded in 1988 to provide mail forwarding services to live aboard cruisers from around the world. The business philosophy was based on a commitment to provide convenient, dependable, and friendly service to every Client. What started as a labor of love, with only a handful of Clients, grew into a mail forwarding, messaging, and marine supply company serving over 3500 clients around the globe.
Today, under the watch of Doug Moody and Scott Loehr, St. Brendan's Isle continues to deliver convenient, dependable, and friendly service. In fact, it is believed that St. Brendan's Isle is the largest provider of mail forwarding services, to live aboard cruisers, in the world.
While our roots go back to serving the live aboard cruiser, an important group of SBI Clients enjoy the rewards of being full time or part time RVers. Traveling primarily throughout North America these clients desire the same outstanding service that we provide our Cruisers. The flexibility of our month to month service fees, our inactive status feature, mail forwarding any day or every day, and no annual dues or sign up fees makes St. Brendan's Isle the perfect fit for the active and mobile RVer.
Our office is located approximately 20 miles from either Jacksonville or St. Augustine in the heart of Green Cove Springs, FL on the beautiful St. Johns River. Since Florida has no state income tax this is an ideal location to use as your permanent domicile. If you have questions regarding this or about Florida Vehicle Registration, Drivers License or Voter Registration please contact us. We would be happy to answer all your questions. If you are ever in the area we encourage you to stop in for a cup of coffee and to meet our friendly staff of associates. If you have time, take a tour of our modern facility, and see how our computer network accurately processes and tracks every shipment we send.
St. Brendan's Isle has a long history of providing convenient, dependable, and friendly service. We are proud of the fact that most of our Clients came from referrals and consider themselves part of a "family" of cruisers and travelers. During your travels, when you see The Emerald Green Pennant with a White Shamrock (four leaf for good luck), stop by and introduce yourself. They will be part of the "SBI family" and some of the greatest folks in the world.
By the way, St. Brendan, also called Brendan the Navigator, is the patron Saint of Navigators and a legendary Irish voyager.
Good Travels,
Doug and Linda Moody
